Hey,

I have VMware workstation 6.5.2. I'd like to create a VM of my Vista
machine before I replace it with WIndows 7 so that I can get to things in
the old system if I need to.

I have been unable to use the Workstation app to convert the local machine
using File/Import/Local machine. I cannot find it again, but I read
something about not being able to do this with Vista.

So I used Ghost 14 to create a VM form a backup image. It created a .VMDK
file, but no .VMX file. Anyone know how I can create a .VMX file so that I
can use the VMDK file?

Thanks,

Bobby
