I don't actually do this for a living, (anybody surprised<???>), but I have found with friends, etc., even the dumber than dirt ones, Teamviewer is "a snap".
It is SMALL, free for casual uses, (like friends, etc.), and all they do is (get and) start the program and give you the PER SESSION access password once they are "connected" to the Teamviewer site. Their user code stays the same, and you need that too. Dial-up might be a drag though... (Quote from site:) "TeamViewer optimizes the display quality and speed depending on the network connection. This leads to optimal performance starting from LAN down to dial-up connections." <http://www.teamviewer.com/products/benefits.aspx> Once started, they can leave and not even watch... Each session requires a new password, so you can't wander back on your own... Rick Glazier From: "Steve Tomporowski" Ya gotta remember the total incompetence at the other end. I don't think they can handle it. Dennis hired a guy to install the Office I sent him. Steve Bino Gopal wrote:
Why not use something for remote access: Remote Desktop/Terminal Services, VNC, or GoToMyPC/GoToMeeting in the meantime...?
