I bought the Bytecc usb 3.0 hard disc enclosure referenced above from newegg. I added it to my existing system which was working fine (in terms of the hum in the speakers) prior to the introduction of this device.

I was previously using a 1TB hard drive inside an Antec external drive enclosure, but as my backups were slow, I bought an ASUS u3sg usb3.0/sata6G bridge. I had all of this working with the Antec external enclosure using the 1TB drive, but it was slow as it was all running at USB 2.0 speeds.

So I simply removed the 1TB drive from the Antec enclosure and put it into the Bytecc HD-35Su3-Bk enclosure. As soon as I turned it on (using the included USB3.0 cable), I got a loud hum from my logitech 5.1 speaker system. The physical location of the HD-35SU3-BK was exactly the same as the Antec before it. To remove the hum, I have tried moving things around and using different outlets on the power strips, but I can't get rid of the hum. The only way to get the hum away is to either turn off the Bytecc enclosure or turn off the speakers.

Any ideas? I see to have one headache after another.
