Hi, You have learned the major issues of InkJet technology.
It's great for low quantity steady printing and photo printing. If your a low usage sporadic user, then Laser is the way to go, either BW or Color, as toner does not really age like Ink does. If your a high volume user, then Laser is the way to go, because even though supplies can be expensive, they last forever (lower cost per page). Personally I have used HP, Xerox, and OKi Data Color Lasers without issues. The HPs I tend to get at bid sale / auction, and drop in new toners (well refurbs off Amazon) and they work well. The Oki Data, I picked up for a friend, it's a great all in one color that actually supports PS3, so she can use it with her OS 7.6.x MAC as well as her PCs... -Harry On 12/16/13 2:47 PM, Anthony Q.
