I'd say the PSU is toast. It has lost most of its' regulation ability.
Need a new PSU.
Yes, aware Hitachi is now WD. Don't know what this portends yet.
I still focus on WD 'Reds' ATM.

I suspect may be what is causing my friends blue screens. Have not

PSU is a 640watt Raidmax about 4 years old.
drives are Hitachi. I hear they now belong to WD.
