seems once warmed up it holds 4.9/5 pretty good and has been running
all night with no glitches.

I'd say the PSU is toast. It has lost most of its' regulation
ability. Need a new PSU.
Yes, aware Hitachi is now WD. Don't know what this portends yet.
I still focus on WD 'Reds' ATM.
