I've played with google tv and tend to agree. As near as I can tell it just
sucks.

I am completely blown away by my Ceton cablecard controller for 7mc. Finally
makes media center exactly what I wanted

Subject: Re: [H] TV for Monitor

I have very little experience...but I have a laptop whose default screen
resolution is 1920 x 1080 (1080p). It works fine on my LG 42-inch 1080p
TV, both as a computer and as playing movies. AT the distance I sit
from it, that resolution looks fine.

Also, my google TV (talk about dud) works on my 67-inch screen in a
similar way. It's actually hard to read this at the my typical viewing
distance.

I urge caution if you need to run higher than about 720 lines in the
vertical direction.
