Totally Agree here. I have a 250gb and my friend has a 4gb model and I am able to download demo's some of which are multiple GB each and he is constantly running into space issues and having to delete things before he can do other things. I never have to worry about that. And from a performance stand point you are able to install games to the hard drive so loading is faster. You still need the disk for licensing reasons but at least its not loading data from optical disc when your playing the game.
