Hello Thane, Nah, it was total cake. We got the drive from Wally world, It had a free Lego Star Wars game on it even. You slide a little door on the side of the Xbox 4 GB and slide it in and turn the Xbox on. It only goes one way so it's probably impossible to mess up. Then just navigate to the dashboard stuff and we transferred everything over without a hitch. It automagically recognized it, no sweat.
