Limited by the included drivers or what the community can hack together. A
great movement for sure that lessens the barrier but by no means removes
the argument.

still really rely on "them" not being like "us". See the recent Samsung
ads. Of course. I can't really say I understand this point though. Look
around any college campus. I'd say easily ~70% of all the computers
students are using are Macs. Maybe it's the Mac/PC is more a generational
thing? Though on the otherhand, I remember seeing some clips from a FreeBSD
convention a few years ago, and a very large number of people there were
using Mac laptops.

The point here is apple has become 1984 IBM with no choices which is funny
given that AD.

They're using mac for the same reason educational environments have used
apple in general for years: major academic discounts.

Apple's own ad campaign created that stereotype, not me.

People who drive the market to an IBM style closed, no choice market are
indeed idiotic for that is a step back in progress.

:) I _personally_ believe that Macs offer a better user experience than
Windows (I would also say that Macs offer a better experience for system
administrators!), but I would not presume to tell anybody else they're
idiots for using PCs...
