Gaffer,
At the risk of local flames, Josh quit SCSI cuz it got too expensive.
Most everybody else in our Collective did too for the same
reason!
I understand; and, agree. All my 'stuff' is old (+10yrs).
I keep at it cuz I've been in it/using it since 1972.
No harm! No foul! Please!
'Tis the Season to be jolly!!!!
I keep at this because my project PC has already accepted an
Adaptec 29160 controller. This gives me the best chance of
success I believe.
Sadly, my root drive (9GB) is running short of room w/WinXP.
I've culled as much as I feel comfortable with ATM.
I am doing case research now. Not sure I can play the cables
needed to do proper LVD/SE for the new planned drives.
Yes, the planned drives are old drives used for many past years.
Thank you for the response.
Best of the Season,
Duncan

LOL I like the parting comment. How old are your drives to be saying
they still beat SATA in this day and age!
15K Seagate's maybe 5-6 years old.
Happy holidays ;)
You too: Thanks.
