Thanks for the comments. I agree that it is worthwhile to wait...Acer has recently announced an up coming tablet with a 1080p screen, in addition to a tegra 3 processor. Also, I've heard that Asus is now following up with a similar announcement....and then there is the iPad 3. I think too much is happening now to spend money....I'm canceling my Prime order.

I've never found a mobile device, including various iterations of the

ease of use. That said, the times that I have used them, I can't remember
having any issues. It does indeed have a plastic back, which may very well
lead to superior antenna performance over the Prime.

I don't think that Samsung has provided a timetable for ICS on the SGT10,
but they have confirmed that it will be receiving it.

I really just wouldn't buy one right now. We're just now beginning to see
native tablet designs for ICS with improved GPUs and quad-core ARM
processors. Unless you're hurting for one right now, we're probably not far
away from having a far better selection to choose from. Just my 2 cents.

Greg,

Can you comment on how the GPS works in the SGT10? Can it pick up and
lock on to satellites well? Also, how does the bluetooth antenna work?

The reason I'm asking...is that there are lots of reports on the
Transformer Prime having major problems with these two antennas due
mainly to the fact that the back is all metal and there are no RF
windows nearby these antennas to help with signal reception. I recall
that the SGT10 has a non-metal back, so I'm thinking it ought to be
fine....I am one of those folks who likes to use a 10-inch table for
GPS-based Nav in the car....

Also, is there some word on when ICS is coming for the SGT10?

Thanks.
