The Collective suggested I embrace MS Dot-Net. Fine. ATM I run v2.0 sp2, v3.0 sp2, and v3.5 sp1. Attempts to remove older versions causes ugly recovery. So, I do not muck with Dot-Net any longer.
Yes, I do know that v4.0 exists and is 'optional' per WinUpdates. Now I have my 2011 Turbo Tax SW. It tells me it will download Dot-Net v4.0............... Excuse me? Do I have too much OLD dot-net sw loaded that I really do not need? Should I divorce Dot-Net and optionally install v4.0? Thanks, Duncan
