I started out that way. I can get into the repair screen but it won't
allow me to log in with the user name and password. Windows accepts
the log in but then it says it can't connect to the domain...
whatever that means and just stalls.

I found these instructions online but when I log in I keep getting
a "can't find domain"
and it won't go any farther. That's what I hate about these
emergency solutions... they never work when you actually need them.
I am ready to just wipe the drive. Does anybody have a Dell OEM iso
for Win7 I could download?
