My recommendation was that it was worth it if you already had one or could
get for under $100.  I do not disagree the nexus is worth the $200 (u am
very happy with my nexus) but figured I would give my opinion on the fire.
I know price isn't always an issue here (especially $200) but as I said, it
works, and isn't that enough to go through the process here?  =)
