Hi - From Keira's evaluation this morning, the tumor in the left eye has gotten
smaller, but it is not as much shrinkage as the doctor would have liked to
see. The right eye is showing new growth of the tumor. On the brighter side,
it looks like her retina has reattached in the right eye and she has gained
some sight in that eye. The doctor states that she can probably see shadows
and light changes.
Keira will undergo a new chemo procedure tomorrow, wherein they put lines in
her groin area up inside her eyes and place the chemo directly at the tumors.
We are confident that this is the procedure that will rid Keira of these nasty
tumors. She is such a trooper and has recently broken her first tooth --
surprisingly...
