Hi Everyone - Thank you for all the prayers, healing energy, and loving
blessings sent to Keira and her family during this difficult time. Keira goes
to NYC on Monday for an evaluation and more chemo. Last visit to NYC they
performed the new chemo procedure wherein they put a line into her groin and up
into her eyes -- sending chemo directly at the tumors. She did well -- she is
such a trooper... The insurance company decided that they were not going to
pay for the doctor since he is out of network and wanted to send them to
another doctor in Philadelphia -- one with less experience. After going round
and round with this the doctor performing the work on Keira told Nicole that as
long as the insurance company continues to pay for the hospital, that he will
do the procedures for free because he cannot in good conscious allow her to not
get the treatment she needs. Isn't that a wonderful showing of how special
some people really are? We
all owe so much to this doctor for his kindness.
Please keep the prayers and healing coming for Keira's highest good and also
please send blessings to this doctor as well.
