I didn't figure it out until yesterday, and I still can't really say
anything useful for you...
Basically, setup a new ubuntu 6 installation, and went through he
process of setup. Java 1.5.0_07, ant 1.7whatever, junit.jar into
ant/lib, etc.
Classlib built, but when I tried to run tests, it seemed to get all
confused about finding things.
I'll first reproduce the problem to be sure that it is something with
ant, and then report back.

Good call. When I was setting up my new box, I
found that the beta for
ant 1.7 doesnt' work...
That was that thread I started over the weekend - w/
1.6.x, it's fine...
Whoa... I missed that thread. Which one is it?

I recently setup a new machine (linux) and now
have the complete list of
stuff that has to be installed (starting from
fresh ubuntu6) and will
post that on the getting started document on teh
website.
