Hello, One of our elderly, homebound congregants is dealing with the recent loss of both her dear friend and her husband. She would like to read a novel that deals with the issues of bereavement.
Can anyone recommend a contemporary novel that includes adults dealing with death or loss as one of its major themes? I have plenty of memoirs, non-fiction and relevant Holocaust books to share with her. What I am looking for are works of fiction or short stories. Thank you for any recommendations you can give me.
