Someone pointed out that if we were to stay on a college campus that others
could stay at hotels close by if they wanted more "comfortable hotel-like"
accommodations. You do lose some of the informal chat time that takes place
in the evenings if people are staying in more than one location but every
few years that might be a good option. I think we should try a college
campus one year if the rates are better and see if it brings in more people.
If the conference were less expensive and was thus more accessible to more
of our members every few years in a different venue I think that would be
great. It's worth a try!
