Dear colleagues,

As part of the AJL Convention in Cambridge, we will be having a room
featuring an on-going Display of Best Practices from 8:30am-5:00pm on
Tuesday, June 20th. This will be an opportunity for us to share with
each other some of our most successful endeavors (lessons, projects,
displays, programs) and learn from each other in a more informal
setting during that timespan. While the focus will be on day schools,
we welcome displays from others who work with students in gr. k-12,
all as space allows.

We hope that many of you will be able to contribute. We will have
both table space and poster space available. Please feel free to
bring binders, poster board, display boards, powerpoint, podcasts,
websites, portfolios, etc. to share with the rest of us. (Please note
that we will not have live internet or be able to supply any
technology, but you can certainly bring captured webpages on your own
computer or display printouts...) You can also help out by
volunteering with the set up and break down that day as well as by
serving as a docent for a specific timeframe.

If you are interested in contributing a display, please reserve space
with a reply including:
* Format of display (poster/table space) -- if you have dimensions,
we certainly won't complain...
* Grade level addressed in display
* Setting (k-6/5-12/7-12/museum/synagogue/community library/archive/etc.)
* Best way to get in touch with you to confirm that there is
available space for your display

Thank you in advance for your participation in making this event happen!

A happy Shavuot to those celebrating!

Sara
