A committee is in formation here in Cleveland to select a book for parent/child (4-5 grader) facilitated book discussion groups to meet during the new schoool year at various locations. (schools and synagogues.) In celebration of Israel @ 60, they are looking for a book about Israel, preferably a chapter book. They are considering Running on Eggs by Anna Levine and are all in agreement that it is a good choice, but they have not come up with anything better.
