At this point, I asked that our funding be held till our next fiscal
year given that the vendor we're looking at has not reached an agreement
with Amazon yet. I want to insure that the vendor we choose will have
the kindle option since so many of our patrons use that particular
device.

I'm leaning towards using Ebsco due to affordability, helpfulness, and
ease of downloading books. I believe that since this is such a new
science, right now there are many limitations, including; title
offerings, publisher lawsuits, etc... Therefore, I thought to revisit
the subject this summer to see if any of the "dust" has cleared.

Hope that helps.

Susan what did you decide to do about contracting for e-books?
