Rose, I believe that if you'd I not have index for the magazines articles you will use other sources to locate an article from a magazine. In my opinion synagogue library is not an academic library. I relied on inter-library loans and found that my AJL friends were very helpful when I needed resources that the synagogue/center library did not keep. Sorry about the EJ volume.
