All your old sefarim, machzorim, Tenach and any book with G-d's name in
Hebrew should be buried. It would make a great learning lesson for your
community and even a fund raising opportunity or contact the nearest
Orthodox shul for suggestions.

Weeding makes a collection more attractive plus providing space for new
material. Unless it's in your mission statement to be a Judaic research
library, you should put a plan in place regarding how many past issues you
should keep. Some periodicals could be kept longer than others and the
articles that highlight your ocmmunity or rabbi could be a permanent
archive item. Past issues are available on the Internet and you are not
far from a major Judaica library for anyone who is doing research that
needs back issues.
