I wanted to share with you all this new book From Jill Hammer (see below)  
She came to visit with our Pre-K class yesterday and was amazing- interactive, 
engaging, developmentally aware. .  She would be great for many grades. 
A wonderful way to integrate Jewish learning and literature for young children. 
I highly recommend her as an author visit .

Rabbi Jill Hammer is the director of spiritual education at theAcademy for

Women,The Jewish Book of Days: A Companion for All Seasons, The OmerCalendar of 
Biblical Women, and The Hebrew Priestess. Her work

has been published in many journals and anthologies, including

A Family Treasury of Mitzvah Stories.

Zoë Cohen is a visual artist and art educator. She works from herhome studio 
in West Philadelphia and teaches at The Universityof the Arts. She holds an MFA 
in visual art from Brooklyn College(CUNY). Her residencies include The Vermont 
Studio
Center,Philadelphia’s 40th Street Artist in Residence program, and 
theArtist-in-Residence program at Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral.Her work has 
been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions inPhiladelphia, New York, and 
Berlin, and is in the
permanentcollection of The Philadelphia Museum of Jewish Art andPhiladelphia 
Episcopal Cathedral.
