Yep, they are almost identical but there are differences. The painting of
Jesus' circumcision is missing from the corresponding spot on the "Abraham's
Two Sons" entry, for example. And the "Jewish" one (as no entry at all for the

between DK’s The Illustrated Jewish Bible for Children andDK’s The Children’s
Illustrated Jewish Bible (with CD). The Illustrated Jewish Bible for Children
is the one for Christians which talks about the Old and New Testament. The
other title actually explains why Jews do not call it the Old Testament and is
clearly written for Jews. Thanks for sharing this as I will now remove the
first one from our collection.

looked at the book's introduction. It is a book about the Jewish Bible-- for
Christian Children--it's title is misleading. I wonder whether the rabbi who
wrote the foreward was aware of this. I've seen this phenomenon numerous times
in books on Israel or the Middle East -- scholars get their names attached as
consultants but there is no way they could have been aware of what the books
