I know a story, but unfortunately I don't remember the names.
There is a story about a person who complained to his rabbi that his house was
too small and the rabbi told him to bring in his chickens, his goat, his cow,
his horse etc. When the man blew up that now his house was way way way too
crowded the rabbi told him to take out the chickens, goat, cow, horse, etc and
suddenly the house seemed much bigger!

I've seen several different versions with either the rabbi, or just a generic
wise man.

Hello Friends,

I have been asked to assist a teacher of multicultural literacy at a local
college by reading to her students two versions of the same children's story,
one Jewish and one something else. I have been looking through my sources, but
am having trouble finding something, so I am turning to you. Does anyone have
any suggestions? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
