The term is in LCSH as well as the BM schedule. I am currently making a proposal for KBM and for the legal form of the heading and I wonder if I should call the PSD's attention that at least some people consider the term offensive (the book uses the term "conversos" in the title). Is "marrano" sufficiently offensive that it should be replaced in LCC and LCSH?
