Dear Charna and Myrna, An excellent list of Jewish books for children is Linda Silver's Jewish Classics for Kids which was published by AJL in 2006. It's an annotated bibliography (of course, it's a bit out of date but it will give you lots of suggestions). The book is available for purchase on Amazon.
