Dear AJL 2016 Conference Stipend Applicants, The Stipends Committee is finalizing its stipend award process, and we wish to thank applicants who responded promptly to our questions. Stipends this year have been supplemented with funding from the Littauer Foundation, the Judy Cohn Stipends Fund, and other generous gifts. The Committee expects to complete its work this week, and will be notifying recipients soon. All stipend recipients are eligible for the early-bird registration rate. Some applicants indicated that they had other funding sources pending at the time of application. Applicants whose situations have changed since their application was submitted are urged to contact the Committee. Thank you for your patience as we finalize the stipends allocation process.
