Try Joseph Kafih's הליכות תימן (Jewish Life in Sana), published by Ben Zvi Institute (6th revised edition, 2007). Some of the chapters discuss family life, education, food, folk medicine, household contents, etc. For older periods, travelogues contain a wealth of information on daily life, e.g., Jacob Saphir's אבן ספיר.
