Well, yes, I was just expressing amazement that the support contract actually worked that way.
Could you get them to send us the right mounting kit? I gave up after three months of trying.
"Hi, you sent us a box with a 2-post mounting kit that's designed for a 3-U box. This box is 2-U. Could you send us the right one?" *birds chirping* It seems they shipped a lot of these things with the wrong kit...
And I won't even tell you the absurdity we went through when they assigned the license for our new box to our VAR, and when we went to change it, someone apparently googled our name, found a company with the same initials nearby and assumed we were them, and assigned our license to them.
I took almost two months to get our license assigned to us under the correct name and assigned to the correct NOW account.
It made me wonder what happened to the wonderful netapp I used to know...
