I think we're ready to get publishing in place. We have the user-visible stuff
in order now, so we can refactor the build as an independent issue.
I'm on interrupts next week and won't have full control of my schedule, but
will try to prioritize this as time allows.
For automatic snapshot publishing, what should be our goal? Every commit,
nightlies, etc? I'm thinking we could just have our regular trunk CI job
publish a snapshot as its last step.
