Travis Crawford commented on HCATALOG-446:

Linking a note I sent the dev list a month back:

Can someone help me understand what the purpose of the releaseaudit target is?
AFAICT it exists to enforce file headers, which we started doing with
checkstyle. Is this target still needed?

> releaseaudit target does not cover all code

> The current releaseaudit target only looks for code under src. This means it
> is missing code in hcatalog-pig-adaptor and storage-handler directories.
