Hello folks,

I'd like to slowly start migrating members to the new
infrastructure. Not everything is ready, and I think a couple
of 'test migrations' would give us this extra drive we need
to get everything finished.

Do you see any problems with this idea?

I'd like to ask for a few volunteers to participate.

Good candidate for this "test drive":

  * is online, on our IRC channel, at times when I am too.
  * can move files to the new server him/herself.
(simple tar, scp, rsync or similar..)
  * knows this is a test drive and expects to
be sending feedback and communicating with me
or other admins a little bit more than usual
  * don't mind re-copying the files again if we erase
the copied data (it's a test drive, remember)
  * hosts a simple website or two at hcoop and possibly
uses other simple features (cron, ftp.. ) that
can be tested along in the new setup.

If we reach a conclusion here to go this way (accepting
a few test migrations), then catch me online on our
IRC channel so we can make moves.

Thanks,
-doc
