Uhh, "new infrastructure" meaning AFS and Kerberos? How exactly do users set Kerberos passwords? Same way original password were assigned? (File in home directory?) Also, I suggest NOT running the 1.5.12 openafs build. Stick with the 1.4.x series for now. (1.4.3 RC1 was released yesterday.) I believe that there was a problem with one of the fsync patches in 1.5.12 that caused data loss for ceretain sites. Just FYI. (I haven't had problems myself, but then I'm on Solaris, not Linux.) Any plans to add AFSDB records to DNS for ease of use for those of us wishing to test things from home? <<CDC _______________________________________________ HCoop-SysAdmin mailing list [email protected] http://hcoop.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hcoop-sysadmin
