Hi Vasudev, It appears based on the link that you supplied (http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/i386/libnetcdf6/download) that you have downloaded and installed the 32-bit version of the libnetcdf.so.6 library. The pipelines would not be expected to run under 32-bit Linux, so I'm betting you are actually using 64-bit Ubuntu Linux. See the answers to the question at http://askubuntu.com/questions/41332/how-do-i-check-if-i-have-a-32-bit-or-a-64-bit-os for techniques to determine whether you are using 32 or 64 bit Ubuntu. Assuming that you are using 64-bit Ubuntu as you should be, then you will want the library available at http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/amd64/libnetcdf6/download Note the amd64 instead of i386 in the URL. Once you have installed the 64-bit version of the library, if things still aren't working, then please issue the following commands and send the output: $ cd /usr/lib $ ls -l libn* This is to check your placement and configuration of the libnetcdf* files.
