We will release that when it has been turned into a proper HCP Pipeline and run on the HCP dataset (hopefully sometime this fall). It is worth noting that the areal classifier will also be expecting surface data and for you to have T1w, T2w, fMRI, and field map data available.

We would need to implement the machine learning areal classifier to our own data which is not released to the public yet. I was wondering when it would be released. This may be a very silly question but is there already a way to include that as an atlas in freesurfer or fsl to locate those areas in every subject performing individualized parcellation in such programs? If I recall correctly there is a plan to release the individualized parcellations performed by HCP but I just think it will be a nice implementation for the widely used programs so that researchers could use that as an updated atlas for cortical parcellation. Thanks a lot anyway for all your work! Best regards, Magda.
