I will start working on HDFS-8014 soon. Based on discussion with Nicholas and
Yi, my current plan is to expose DFSInputStream#actualGetFromOneDataNode and
call it from processErasureCodingTasks. Then I guess HDFS-7348 can add the
logic of decoding obtained data and build recovered blocks. Let me know if the
plan sounds good to you.
