Hi [~arpitagarwal] thanks for proposing this. I have one question: why target
this jira to HDFS-1312 branch? Isn't this better for trunk?
Also, I have been thinking whether we should enforce people to use SLF4J (or
say, reject patches that import commons-httpclient which is EOL) via Yetus
precommit.
