Hi [~jojochuang], this was just for fixing new classes added as part of the
disk balancer feature in the HDFS-1312 branch. If you want to start a
hadoop-wide effort that can be tracked separately.

Good question, perhaps better to discuss this on the common-dev@ mailing list.
I don't have an opinion. IIRC log4j2 uses an incompatible configuration format
so we are unlikely to be rid of log4j any time soon.
