Thanks [~msingh] for the patch! Looks good to me overall, only one thing, looks
like in certain places the time is used as {{long}}, and some other places used
as {{String}}. Is there a particular reason for this? can we just use one type?
I personally prefer using just {{long}} type, such that we don't rely on that
format specified in hadoop-common, and we can compare older/newer easily.
