Well technically this makes quite sense to me. In HA the local edits I don't
find any as such usability for the local edits and can be good to have a
configuration to disable them.
I saw this patch few days back too for some issue, The patch is quite
straightforward and seems fair enough
[~brahmareddy] is the best person who can help with some good details or if
there was any challenge here. :)
