Font error in Lilypond 1.2.1

Hi there,

  on my SuSE Linux 6.2 (teTeX package tetex-1.0.6-3), Lilypond 1.2.1 does
not typeset any notes at all. Instead, it uses some different symbols from
the font (see attachment). Is there any workaround?
