I wonder if this is impossible, but thought I would ask. I would like
to add a brace (vertical slur, curved line), connecting a note in the
treble staff with a note in the bass staff, the sort of thing one
often sees in keyboard music to indicate that even though a note
appears in lower staff, it should be taken with the right hand.
In particular, this seems difficult given that at present, all the
notes for the upper staff are in one group, and all the notes for the
lower staff are in another group...
