I switched from Gnome to xfce with the wm replaced by exwm a
few years ago [...] and now I’m used to it and no longer would
want to miss it.
If at any moment you have time to share that experience, I'm one
that it is quite interested on it. :)
I've been using i3 for many years, but being emacs the hub of my
computing activities, exwm seems always a temptation. ;)
