Dear Arne,

not exactly, but I had “emacs-exwm” both in my system-wide
system.scm and in my user configuration.

Possibly that caused problems. So I removed “emacs-exwm” from my
user configuration and left it only in system.scm, and re-built
both.

Unfortunately, though, I had in the meantime done a “git pull,” so
the reconfigure brought in the new GNOME, and now GDM does not
come up on boot, so I cannot see what would or what not have
worked after that.

Ah well. Back to old configuration, and now I suppose I will have
to wait for the GNOME situation to resolve itself.

I would, by the way, prefer to have all my packages including
“emacs-exwm” in my user configuration, but if the latter is not in
system.scm, then GDM does not offer the EXWM login option.

All best,
Stefan
