Hmm - I wonder - the MMX instructions _could_ be used in a microkernel,
couldn't they?
I am afraid that I haven't studied processors since the Pentium was
high-tech, and that is a while ago.
I will need a new processor book.
Could anyone tell me what the best HW book is right now?
Remember "The Indispensable PC hardware Book" by Messmer?
Is there a good follow-up, or is there som downloadable stuff that just
explains the MMX-stuff?
Thanx, Atle
