It is working now. In my system, `kpsewhich txi-pt.tex` points to "/usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/texinfo/txi-pt.tex", and a `pacman -F /usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/texinfo/txi-pt.tex` says that this file belongs to texlive-plaingeneric package: $ kpsewhich txi-pt.tex /usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/texinfo/txi-pt.tex $ pacman -F /usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/texinfo/txi-pt.tex usr/share/texmf-dist/tex/texinfo/txi-pt.tex is owned by extra/texlive-plaingeneric 2025.2-2 I updated that file in that location, and now it is working. I wasn't understanding that I needed to modify that file for the texlive package. I was modifying in the texinfo source, for the texinfo package. Are you people trying to submitted this patch to texlive project? If you are, I thank you. Or else, do tell me, for me to try to upstream it myself. Also, if it is best to be me to upstream it to texlive project, do also tell. Cheers for Freedom, -- The pioneers of a warless world are the youth that refuse military service. ~ Albert Einstein
